Darcy Winslow is a pioneer and active practitioner of sustainability frameworks and principles, exploring and experimenting with the application of these to all aspects of business. Darcy worked at Nike, Inc. for over 20 years and held several senior management positions within the business, including: Global Director for Research, Design and Development; General Manager for Sustainable Business Strategies; General Manager for Global Women’s Footwear, Apparel and Equipment; and Senior Advisor to the Nike Foundation. In addition to these positions, she co-led two one year efforts to redesign the organizational structure, process of alignment and the cultural implications associated with massive transformation across their Footwear division and ultimately the Nike Brand.

In 2008, Darcy founded DSW Collective, LLC, focuses on the alignment of organizational values and principles with the development and implementation of practical yet aggressive systemic sustainable design strategies. The Collective consists of experienced practitioners in sustainability, business strategy and leadership, facilitation, organizational management and development, change management, system dynamics, supply chain, marketing and communication. We collectively accomplish our project work through unprecedented leadership, collaboration, innovation, fearlessness, and urgency.

Darcy is Program Director of the Sustainable Enterprise Certificate Program (SEC) at Willamette University’s Executive Development Center;
Managing Partner of The Academy for Systemic Change;

Adjunct faculty member at The Center for Creative Leadership;
Collaborator with The Biomimicry Institute and the Biomimicry Guild;
Executive-in-Residence and Senior Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management;
Darcy Winslow spent 21 years at Nike;
Member of The Society for Organizational Learning (SoL) since 1999 as part of the founding members (Nike, Inc.) of the Sustainability Consortium. Most recently she has been co-facilitating Leading and Learning for Sustainability workshops with Peter Senge, the founder of SoL and author of The Necessary Revolution;

Joined in the efforts of several Sustainability champions via the work of Seed Systems;
Member, the Board of Directors for The Council for Responsible Sport;

Participated in two Antarctica expeditions since 2009 led by Robert Swan and members of his 2041 team, providing expertise in the arena of sustainability and leadership.

Winslow received her BS in exercise science and MS in exercise physiology and biomechanics, and is a 2003 graduate of the Stanford Executive Program. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for NorthWest Earth Institute, Portland State University’s Institute for Sustainable Solutions, and as a Technical Advisor to the Oregon Innovation Council; the Board of Directors for Portland Oregon Sustainability Institute, Greenopolis, The Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education, and the Council for Responsible Sport. She is an active member of the Society for Organizational Learning and Sustainability Consortium and was named a Pivotal Leaders, a Northwest-based network of clean-tech business leaders, for a second year.

Darcy is a lifelong athlete and enjoys traveling the world.
