These include “motherhood as a training-ground for business,” “the power of media to transform culture,” “spirituality and business,” “the voice of independent media,” and more. Nina is a founder of the Headwaters Fund and City of Lakes Waldorf School. She is also a founding member of both UnReasonable Women for the Earth and Code Pink. Nina holds a BA in English and American Literature from Harvard University and a masters degree in Human Development from St. Mary’s University.She has been married to Utne founder Eric Utne for 25 years and is the mother of three sons and stepmother to one son.
